I almost don't see the point to favors at a wedding anymore. It's almost like a goody bag at a kids party! I'm sure the meal is costing an arm & a leg already. I know it's to thank the guest for coming, but it seems like an outdated tradition.

We went to a very nice wedding and they gave out metallic jordan almonds in the tulle, as well as a custom engraved gift bag with the names of the bride & groom, inside that was a shot glass with a celtic symbol on it. I dunno, I guess if you have unlimited funds these things are ok, but what do you do with them after??
