Also, check the bargain area first. I've found the same books in both the bargain area and the regular area. In the bargain area they are usually $1-$3, but in the regular area they are 1/2 off the regular price.

They had a $1 aisle - I saw 30% off and $1, $2, $5 & $10 items. If the books were not marked they were 50% off. Outside they had boxes of damaged items for 50 cents. My younger dd wanted a book. At the very same time my odler dd found it on one aisle as I found it on another. We both brought it to my younger dd. Take a look on the back - one said $3.99 and the other $5.99. Identical books. So, lesson here, if you see the same book in different places, check the prices.
