We just upped our monthly budget to $350. It was $300, but things (with or without coupons) are too expensive here. I live in Northern Va. Everything here is more expensive.

Family of 5 - 2 adults, one 13 (5'9", 165), one 8 year old and one 5 year old. We don't have superwalmarts here, no bakery outlets or 2nd hand stores. A few stores will double under $.50, but usually on stuff we don't buy. I rely on Dollar Tree, Costco, Bottom Dollar and I get all my meats on clearance from Giant.
