How about some buttermints? I know I always have lifesaver mints with me - I think people would appreciate something minty after eating anh drinking!

If you want to package them a little differently, you could buy those little black or clear plastic cups at the warehouses (BJ's, Sams, Costco). They are used for condiments. You could put a label with their names and date of marriage. Nice, but usable.
