Lisa if you're thinking about giving up junk, breads other than whole grain varieties are actually a real good place to start! White bread is really awful nutritionally.
It sounds hard to go without bread and pasta and the like, but it isn't once you get into the swing of it. I did it for a few years, fell off the wagon

, and just started back into it a few weeks ago.
