In moot - I meant, a link to the post is now on a couple different threads so everyone can see it anyway.

A little history - before I became a mod (about 2 years ago) I was in a discussion in the Cafe (don't think it was called that then) - one day, poof, the thread was gone. The OP had deleted it. The post was copied in another thread, in it's entirety, similar to the one here. That thread was taken off. The Mod explained that because OP started the thread, it was hers/his to take off if they wanted to, and could not be recopied somewhere else out of respect for the OP. Pretty much that was the explanation. (I'm not saying the OP should be respected it...let's not go there) I'm just explaining it the way it was explained to us.

Since then Greg has become president things have changed. So he very well may say I was wrong.

I don't know any better way to explain why I took off the post.
