I suppose xenophobic and racist posts, by a poster hiding behind another user name, that are then then hidden and protected by those who moderate this board tend to "stick" in my craw. If that is a symptom of my education, I am okay with it.

This was not protected by a mod in any way other than following long standing community norms. There has been a long history here at MC that when somebody deletes their thread their wish is honored. Period. Your response is offensive and uncalled for because of your misguided assignment of nefarious motives when none exist. If you feel so strongly about our mods, maybe you should move on to someplace else on the net. Our mods aren't perfect, no human is but to accuse them of complicity in racism goes over the line and an apology is in order.
