I do find it interesting, though, that nobody has ever seemed to be teary-eyed about Bush or anyone else being satirized. They've always done this, and to those who have an affinity for the ones being profiled, it's not been worthy of so much chatter. I just saw a woman on CBS This Morning lamenting that they didn't have a conservative sitting at the bottom of the page with a thought bubble containing those portrayals. I guess she wanted to dumb it down just to protect him from the assumptions of those who wouldn't ever read the article. Sorry, gal, but that's not how that works.
