I am comparing with people saying Netwinner falsely accusing them of cheating and this other forum of falsely accusing people of having multiple accounts and banning them. . I do not really want to mention this other forum. But if you could just read their Netwinner thread you would understand more. People on that thread were attacking the few who were not bashing NW. And soon were banned and being falsely accused of all being the same person. I later read where a mod admitted to even if the IPs do not match. All she has to do is suspect they are the same to ban.
What I am trying to say. These people should not bash nw for accusing people of cheating then say it's ok the mods for falsely ban people for multiple accounts.
I am saying it is wrong for both NW to falsely accuse people of cheating and also wrong of this site to faslely accuse people of having multiple accounts. The people bashing NW are cheering the mods for banning the people defending NW |
rkk, I think I know which forum you're talking about, and there are a few things you didn't know or forgot to mention. The posters all joined at the same time (within a day or 2 of each other), sounded like carbon copies of each other in their praises and style, and took turns repping or applauding each other. Having different IP addresses does not mean they were different people. You can get temporary unique IP addresses, or have dial up, or wireless connections, or multiple computers. And multiple people using the same computer (home, work, library) can have the same IP address. I think the mods looked at more than just their IP addresses.
BTW, I was never a member of NW (but some family members were) so I have no basis for bashing or praising them, but glad that I went with my gut feelings and passed on joining when asked.
