Interesting - it's a pretty color of green! I wonder if the 'greens' would go for what he suggested - using 10% of the surface of the state of NM. Much of NM is so barren and ugly... but then again, the Alaska tundra is barren and unaccessible and the environmentalists don't want it touched. Granted, NM isn't 'untouched'... but personally, I fail to get excited about 'untouched' vs 'touched'. That argument is based on our *feelings* rather than any scientific or environmental reasoning.

I find the whole wind thing interesting. I think the windmills are rather pretty and half-jokingly asked my mom what she tought about calling T.B. up and seeing if he'd want to start on our farm. She surprised me by saying, essentially, NIMBY! Her area has oil wells all over the place but they don't block her view of the horizon and she thinks the windmills are an eyesore and would mess with the aesthetics of her view! lol
