| Web Orders Are Unreliable.
It seems that this company can't effectively handle online orders. I ordered a dining room set from the website http://www.furniturepluslv.com. The website quotes that the items ship in 1-2 weeks. I made an order on July 8th and I've yet to get a shipping number. I talked to an employee named Tony after the order was already past the two week estimate and was told that the order would be shipped on the 28th and should arrive by August 1st. This was actually three weeks instead of two but I tried to be patient and understanding. I was also told that a tracking number would be given for the order very soon. I waited and waited until the Friday that I was told the order would be received and there was still no tracking number. The credit card has been charged though. I called Tony back to ask about the status of the order and he told me that he doesn't have a status for the order and that he was waiting for the warehouse to give it to him. I asked for the warehouse's contact information and Tony told me that he couldn't give it to me. I asked Tony why he would tell me that the order would ship on the 28th when it didn't. Tony told me that he doesn't really know when the orders ship until the warehouse tells him that it did. When I asked Tony to credit my credit card back for the order until it actually ships, he suggested that I just cancel the order. We did decide to cancel the order since it seems that was the only way from getting the money credited back before anyone could tell us where the item was. It seems that he was sick of corresponding with us. The website quotes inaccurate shipping times when website orders take an extra week or two, the owners can't tell you what the status of the order is even 3 and a half weeks after the order date.
