She was sarcastic at times,but, that is exactly what the Republicans wanted, IMO. This woman has been belittled and badgered since she was introduced. She needed to show that she is no shrinking violet, and she can hold her own. I loved the speech, she was composed, gracious, and fierce. LOVED the hockey mom joke, obviously. And, did anyone see the Hoosier's button???
DH and I were watching together, and they showed someone wearing a campaign button that said "Hoosiers for the Hot Chick", then the camera went up a bit to show the person's face and it was an elderly man. Oh, DH and I just LOVED IT!!! I'd love to get my hands on that button. PRICELESS.
I think we all have to agree, this election has really got people talking and more people are getting involved in the process. That can only be a good thing, whatever party you support.
Oh, and DH and I both loved the part where Trig's sister was licking her hand and fixing his hair. Soooo cute!!!!
