It sounds pretty good to me. I've never added sausage to lima beans, but if you normally do (and you like spicy Italian sausage), I think it will be good.

Can you share your recipe? Did you use dried beans? I have a bunch of lima beans in the garden so am interested in getting some new ideas for things to do with them, other than boiling them and serving them with butter and salt.
