Sometimes, you have to take statements at face value and not read into them something completely different. Yes, this applies to both sides. I'm a simply dumbfounded that people are reading so much into a poorly executed statement (Obama is not, IMHO, a great public speaker).
It appears to me (and I'm being objective--'cause I don't like either party's candidate)--that some (a lot) of McCain's followers are just looking for something to pounce on. Could we PLEASE discuss the actual issues--and not some perceived verbal slight?
