On Friday, 9/5/08, I finished 2 years of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation because of breast cancer. I put off my first mammo because I was "busy" ......for 3 years. I thought it was going to hurt, it didn't hurt at all, compared to 3 surgeries, being poked with needles countless times, and radiation burns. I was very lucky that my cancer was slow growing. I met alot of people that weren't as lucky along my journey.

Please, please get a mammogram. If you arent going to do it for yourself then do it for your family, because they are the ones who are going to have to stop their lives to take care of you when you can't take care of yourself. It takes less than 10 minutes. It may save your life.
