The entire church family is what you gained strength form. If you fault Obama for a faucet of his (Wrights) personality and claim that he too must suscribe to that belief since he still at that time belonged to the church, then do you also believe that it is perfectly okay for priests to rape little boys? Very few priests were reprimanded for the atrocities they inflicted on hundreds of little boys. How many catholics ever left the church and denounced what happened? Of course if you are catholic and love the church you didn't leave or denounce your faith. Did you know the priests molested the kids? Probably not, but what has come to light now, looking back there were obvious signs. I live in a community that was and continues to be shaken by such priests. I don't look at any of my catholic friends with any difference now. After the first boy (man) came forward and made his claims, they continued to go to the same church, look upon their bishop with great admiration even though he seemed to be protecting the priests in question. It is their relationship with the teachings of the church and the members of the congregation that feed their soul. The priests were only a part of their spiritial life. So for once and for all could you just step off the whole big fat lie that Obama subscribes to every thought that Wright does. The Trinity church was and continues to be much more than one reverand
Based on the above post, and your previous ignorant statements regarding this issue, nobody will ever change your mind, or your warped perception on the Catholic church, and Who it is we worship...

But here's a clue: Catholics (and other practicing Christians) do NOT worship the clergy members, we worship our Lord. The Catholic church is the house of God, so why would we abandon it? Especially at such a horrible time. That is when we needed to be even stronger in our faith, and make changes.

You have no idea of the extent of the changes and improvements in the Catholic church since those unspeakable crimes, but you don't want to know, either. It is WAY easier to sit in judgement (and less effort, too, right? LOL) to be the devil's advocate. You also have no idea (nor do you want to) that the overwhelming majority of priests and other clergy are good people who truly dedicated their lives to serving the Lord. They were all tarred by the same feather, so to speak, but they continue to do the work of God quietly, and millions of us are grateful for that.

Do yourself a favor and omit your ignorant religious rants from your arguments. Your point of view might not be lost on so many, then...
