Both candidates are talking about change now, and I think they are both hard pressed to give us a clear picture of HOW they are going to do it. Why? Because not one person can do it....our system is not designed to allow one person to do it all.
And change is not going to happen over night. Anyone who ends up in office has a lot of work to do to clean up the decisions/damage of the last 8 years....and there isn't one person to blame for that. Who is most responsible is the American people...we want change, it needs to start with us.
If you are undecided, do your research...and don't do it here. Each candidate has a website with tons of information. They also may have local offices in your area, and you can go in and talk to someone. Make a short list of things that are important to you and your family and weight the pro's and con's. Also, take into account what state you a living in and how the outcome will effect your state....like if you are living in AZ or IL, having a Pres from your home state might increase benefits to you....like what Arkansas saw with President Clinton and Texas with Bush.
Avoid the TV commercials. Don't let them make your decisions. They are all designed to sku your way of thinking and it is a sad commentary on the American people that our votes can be swayed with the same kind of propaganda that is used to get us to buy Doritos and fabric softener.
Still don't know after all of that? Sit down and talk to someone you trust. Sometimes the best way to come up with a solution is to hear ourselves just talk it out.
Good luck with making your decision. | What she said!
