When I bought my house years ago, the developer left me a basket in the house. It had pasta fixings (box of pasta, jar of sauce, utensils, etc), a roll of paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Perfect for a move-in day. I know dinner prep was the last thing on our minds even though we were starving by dinnertime.
