I don't think it's so much that she represents Obama or ALL his supporters. I do think pointing out her racist rant is similar to how sometimes people like to point out that some dork on the conservative side goes against some "family values" stand. It's just pointing out that somebody, that claims to be liberal and supports the "equal justice" stand is being racist. She's being a hypocrite. . .it happens on both sides.
