White trash does NOT refer only to poor whites, nor are all poor whites included in the designation of white trash as I've heard it used.

For example, I've heard Paris Hilton referred to as "white trash." Personally, I prefer to just use the word "trash," because trash comes in all colors, sizes, sexes and religions.
