I am fiscally conservative and socially progressive. I lean more towards the social progressive part, so I suppose I identify more with the Democrat platform. I was just repeating what President Clinton said this morning when he lumped all Democrats as liberal and all Republicans as conservative. I don't think being conservative would have anything to do with anyone's God, as you said. So I really can't define conservative just as I can't define liberal because I guess it means something different to everyone.
