Ok -- I'll fess up. But it was for a very good cause. I have never put anyone's sign in my yard, except one time. I had very personal knowledge of someone running and the thought of this person in an elected office just totally creeped me out. The day before the election, I was driving down the road and saw around 10 signs for his compeditor along a lonely street. That night, under the cover of darkness, I drove out there, turned my head lights off and stole one of the signs. I then displayed that sign very proudly in my yard the day of the election in hopes it might influence at least one person's vote.

Was that "stealing" under the law ????

I am glad to say the result was a landslide against the slimeball ....
