Make sure you do ALL your research. I had gastric bypass 3 1/2 years ago, and had it reversed over a year ago. I'm not trying to be a downer. I did have classical complications, a severe ulcer 7 months out which required surgery to cut it out. I had two emergency surgeries for adhesions and bowel obstruction, then suffered Bariatric Beri-Beri (thiamin deficiency) and severe vitamin deficiencies resulting in alot of neurological problems and neuropathy. I was on a feeding tube for 8 months and unable to move off the couch before my reversal. I guess I was sort of a WLS train wreck...
