I think they probably both said, "Well, they aren't going to vote for me no matter how I say it, so I'll just say it the way much of the country does, the way I heard it all my life, right or wrong. Nu-ku-lar. It'll drive the snobs crazy, and I think that'll be fun. They'll make a fuss over it and come off looking petty. Works for me!"
