My son is turning 13 in Nov. His favorite gift is cash and his second favorite is a gift card. I would not buy clothes for a boy unless you knew he liked getting clothes and what kind he likes. If not you may just be wasting your money. My son hates getting clothes for gifts, where my 11 year old daughter loves getting clothes. If you were to get a gift card I would get one from a place like Target or Wal Mart. That way they have a lot to choose from.
