I read the same thing during the primaries with exit polls. They also look at the rally how many people attend that are white/black. Comments were even made in the news during the conventions. That at the republican convention very few blacks.
I just hope people would base they vote on a candidates policy views and not whether they are black, white, woman, etc.
People really need to ask themselves..if I have never seen Obama or knew he was black or a Democrat would I still vote for him. I do sometimes wonder if it would be different if he looked more "white".
