I am so sorry this happened to you. I had a cat when I was teenager that was a RUNT and he always did things like that. I truly believe he actually lived out all of his 9 lives. He was so small he fit in my hand. He did this same thing when Mom and I were folding laundry one night. About 5 minutes after we started dryer we couldn't find him so we ran to check and sure enough as soon as we opened the dryer door out he came. He shook his head and ran off like nothing happened. He also got shut in the refrigerator. Luckily my Dad was still thirsty and ran back for another drink. He was also stepped on, slammed shut in door and fell in swimming pool(and had to be rescued by pool net). Kitty owners beware and be careful. They are curious creatures and will get into all kinds of trouble. Again, I am sorry this happened to you but Thanks for posting so others can be aware.
