I don't have my original birth certificate either. . .I don't think that's even the question with Obama. Everyone knows he is not claiming it's the original one. In fact, 2006 I think it's suppose to be from. And that's fine. I just think that it makes NO sense that we have a Constitutional requirement to be President and nobody has to show they meet that requirement.
I don't know about Clinton. . .but it really doesn't have to do with other campaigns trying to dig stuff up. It is the fact that you should have to show you meet the requirements when you file.
Seriously, how many times are we asked to show our documentation? All the time! I just think that when a candidate files for office they should have to show theirs. Do Congressman have to show they live in their district? I think they should. Same here. . .ALL candidates should be REQUIRED to show they meet the REQUIREMENTS. I don't think that is unreasonable.
It's not even so much about Obama. Think 4, 8 or 12 yrs down the road. I think Obama makes it about Obama by not just showing he meets the requirements.
