This is so cool. I would do a little research about the land and see who own it 35 years ago. Once you find out the last name, maybe you could find out more information out about your friendly ghost. Check with the local newspaper for pictures. Also check with local high school(s) for old yearbook pictures.

OK, my turn to tell you about my ghost stories. I work at the old fair grounds and the old owners is still around. Sometimes when I'm in the buildings I can smell his cigars. I've had the office door chime to go off when there was no one there to open the locked door. The office adding machines go off when no one is close to them. I've also smelled a very strong old rose perfume and I just found out that it was his wife. I've never seen him and now when things happen we general say good morning Mr. ___ or hello Mr. ____.

My dad passed away 10 years ago at home and he has never left or should I say he came back home. We were expecting family from out of town and the night of the viewing the front door opened and closed and foot steps were heard across the floor. We called out to our cousin that we were in the back room only to realize she never answer back or came in the room. When we went looking for her she was just coming in the front door. My brother now lives in the house and daddy has woke him up several times because someone was outside in the middle of the night. My brother said that he still sets out on the front porch and that they still hear him sometimes. He maybe gone in body but he is still with us in sprit.
