I honestly do not have any conversations with him, other than to tell him to bug off..LOL
But, he never answered me when I did ask him what he wanted or how I could help. lol
Like I said, I probably would have had a coronary right then and there, and I think that he senses that.
I figured putting the cigar box out would be kind of like a sign saying "I am trying to help", but I am not sure if it has done anything at all. There seems to be a pattern of every two years, in the fall, he becomes active to someone in the home (but not to me). But, then again, I am blind as a bat and my home is not lit up as well as I would like it..so even if he was right in front of me I would probably walk right through him..LOL I am sure he has given up on me for any type of contact by now..LOL
MykentuckyKids~ I don't know who those two are that you mentioned, but I will do a search. I did contact someone in Washington state, but he just mainly told me to keep a journal and to NOT get a tape recorder (in case something was said like "get out" and we would be totally freaked out, which we aren't now). He said that woudl be better off left to the experts to decipher and deal with, rather than freak everyone out in the house for no good reason.
I really feel this guy is a good spirit. He seems to be very gentle and really does seem to care about other's feelings. I am not sure if ghosts do that, but this one sure does.
kcs, I will check out that website, as well. I agree, I need to do more research, check out old newspapers, etc and see what I can find. Someone has got to have some knowledge of this old man and who he is.
Linnybop~ I will check out those books as well. Like the other names mentioned, those are all foreign to me.
edited to add: Linny, I did a check on this Chip guy, and he is going to be in Rockford, IL on Oct 23 speaking at the college in town!!! wooah!

I just wish I could find a good medium to come in here and just have a chit chat with him. Maybe they could figure out what he needs, or wants, or is missing.
*sigh* Or, we will just have to live with this, and every two yeras you all will have to hear me moan and *itch about the newest sighting and what he has done! LOL
