What with digital cameras and computer touch up, why buy school pictures anymore? I have found that I can pose my family, place them in a garden or hang a sheet decoratively behind them, place them on a chair, or stairs or something interesting and get much more relaxed shots. Then I can take 20 or 30 shots, look through them, crop them, fix anything with photoshop and get them printed for a fraction of what it would cost.

(When my mom was 87 I took off all her wrinkles and age spots....it was her favorite photo, lol!)
