I find it hard to believe with the photographic technology today that they can't take a couple of picks and let the parent see them/pick one on line before you buy. I agree that the prices that you pay for a picture you probably won't like are ridiculous. Then we go through the same thing with the sports pics. I remember the year I tried to get out of baseball pics- my son was very upset as we were the only ones who opted out of the individual pics so now I just grit my teeth and bear it.
