Unhappy concerning Colin Powell and the war in Iraq

HIs statement to President BUsh was 'IF YOU BREAK IT , YOU OWN IT", MEANING that 6 years later as of today we still own it. Furthermore all of the private corporations involved in furnishing supplies and work crews especially "Haliburton" which was the company that the vice president was the CEO prior to becoming VP he resigned that position and that is one of the biggest corporations supplying and receiving monies from this government. Now he VP stated and btw he has had four deferments under the four Republican presidents.. First would be Nixon, Ford, Reagen, and Bush and number one... Are you aware of all this , does this sound like a man as VP would that kind of non Military service to this country would be great or what????. Getting back to the point of ware some Republicans have stated that Colin Powell first endorsed the BUsh and Cheney Administration, POwell was told and suppossly confirmed and told by all the intelligents that their were weapons of mass destruction , where we all know now there were none to be found and confirmed. They all lied and made Powell became the messager from the Republican party and had to deliver this message at the Untited Nations and after that, He disassociated himself from the Republican Party, he did not hear from him anymore and got out after 4 years. He never made any public appearances because he knew that the war was wrong after making that statement at the Un. He no longer became a factor on Television ever hearing of him. Because he knew in his heart it was wrong. And again 'IF YOU BREAK , yOU OWM IT/" Finally we have owed for the last 6 years and the results from the war are such over a lost of over 4500 young men and women serving this country are no longer with us. SO does anyone still agree with Bush"s decision to enter into war. As far as the people who live in Iraq I honestly feel sorry for the way they have had to live their lives prior to the invasion of Iraq. Also prior to the death of Saddam Hussian. In the end if anyone can dispute this I would like to hear your thoughts.... Catherine
