Quite frankly, I don't need a definition. I see patriotism every single day of my life. Whether it be my husband who serves his country or I talk to my son who is thousands of miles away serving his country. Moreover, I see it anytime I step outside my house and see my neighbors who also serve their country and sacrifice their time with their famlies. I see it when I see my husband's friend who is missing part of his leg thanks to an IED in Iraq. I also see it when I go to work. I work in an Army battalion as the only civilian in about 800 infantry soldiers. I see young men who have voluntarily joined the military to serve their country. I see them right out of high school and I see them with college degrees. The common link is they have chosen to serve their country. Making an ass out of oneself as the Code Pink nutjobs are prone to do is not really patriotic. It's rather pathetic.
