Maine is a beautiful state. With the very low crime rate, and great sense of community it is a great place to raise a family. Not to mention the wonderful scenery. Bar Harbor and the Moosehead Lake region just to name a few scenic places. The summers can be wonderful, but after living through many, many Maine winters, there are times when I wish we lived in a more comfortable climate.
