We keep ours at 68 most times. On those really cold below zero days or nights we crank it up a bit more and pile on more blankets as well for us. I hate the heat bills as well but I refuse to be cold so will turn it up if need be. The cold air alone gets me sick since I have chronic bronchitus. I wish we had a wood stove or pellet stove but we rent so thats not an option.
