I am going broke buying gifts for parties my girls have been invited to this year. Up until recently, parties were for friends that they have had for years, and I generally spend $15-20 on a gift. However this year it seems there are invites for girls they just met this school year, and there are many of them. I am glad they are making new friends, but certainly cannot afford to keep this up!

I am wondering what your general rule is for gift spending and if you had any good affordable gift ideas for 11-13 year old girls. Thanks..
