Why do we still have this archaic system? Why don't we just go by Majority wins. Period.
Why should the voters in "swing states", Ohio for example, be more important than voters in any other state?
The electoral college, established in 1787, may have been ideal when the US was sparsely populated, but why is it still needed now? | If the electoral college had been done away with years ago we would not have suffered under Bush2.
