Maybe its just me but I expect there to be games at most bridal/baby showers and I go knowing that like it or not, I have to be a polite guest and participate no matter how dumb/boring/stupid/embarassing/etc. the games are.

Just like the receiving line after a wedding, I hate hugging but I suck it up and deal with it because its just what you do to be polite. Much to my surprise, I haven't died yet.
