Mom, I was only trying to say that sometimes we need to make the best out of a bad situation. Yes, we should pay attention while we're driving, and I was not looking at myself to see how cute I was...not at that moment...but I was cute! :-) I'm sorry you saw it as someone making light of something that could have hurt someone. Point is...no one was hurt, and I have been through too much sadness in my life to continue to look at the dark side. I count my blessings, and I believe the ability to smile, even when things look bleak, is one of them. I have a sign in my classroom that says, "Choose Your Attitude." I'm lucky we all have to ability to do just that.
