Goonie my younger dd 16 Caitlin got very sick 6 months ago from using them. She was getting dizzy spells and just not feeling well. The one mistake she did make and I think alot of teenagers make is that they keep them in too long. They think because their a tampon they have much better coverage... For me personally I never used one. However so many of my dd;s friends all use them they love them they say for swimming wearing jeans and pads not showing. However we took our dd to the doctors and her female doctor said I am againist the usage of tampoms and again said that girls were leaving them in for as much as 6 hours too long. So long story short for many health issues the risks right on the package she no longer uses them and has not had a problem. i sincerely hope all goes well for your dd. Peace... Catherine
