Grew up with Shih tzu's. Very yippy dogs but the males are very loyal. Now we have 2 Golden Retrievers a male and female and after having them I will never own another breed. These are the best dogs ever. Do not bark even when the neighbors yippy dogs are barking. Great dogs.
