I was rear-ended about 3 months ago while stopped at a stop light. I was inconvenienced by the act, waiting for law enforcement, doing the report, notifying/working with insurance, and then getting my car repaired.
It made me late for work and my entire day's schedule was off. The positive was that #1, the young man actually pulled over instead of taking off, and apologized genuinely for what he had done. He felt bad for the damage to both vehicles and knew it was his fault. When law enforcement arrived, he was truthful and accepted the responsibility for what he had done.
While she shouldn't have yelled at you, you shouldn't have made light of it in the moment. She was the victim.

Ok, there is your entire post. Just wanted to save a little bit of reading for our fellow MC'ers. So basically, you were inconvenienced. Not the best day ever for you, and not something anyone wants to be surprised with . I get that. But in the big picture, your schedule was thrown off. While you were rear-ended, by a guy that sounds decent, at the end of the day, you could walk, you could talk, Sorry you were late for work. But really, was that your worse day ever?
