I am a sub teacher as well. I am pretty much working full-time as it is. As long as there are teachers, DH's job "seems" pretty secure-he actually got a nice raise in July. However, it is pretty scary to think that anyone could be laid off tomorrow, and there is really nothing you can do about it. We would be totatlly hosed.
