I always thought it was smart budgeting and although we weren't "living on the edge" by waiting to buy our Christmas presents after Thanksgiving, I rather enjoyed shopping in less crowded stores and having plenty of time to think about what to get people. Besides, by September most stores started displaying Christmas items already. Maybe because of the economy people are starting to think more about the future and how much of a crunch it can be for many families if they wait to do their shopping later. Just my 2cents.
Oh I was just teasing. I know how it is to have kids in diapers, I have 3 year old twins and one will always be in diapers, she has severe disabilities. Plus a 5 year old that I fear will never be out of pull ups at night.

I just can't feel like it is Christmas time yet, we just had Halloween

And know some people were buying for Christmas, they had a cart full of ornaments and other decorations. A few others in the toy section and looking at lists.
