For a joke you should do something really old fashioned like have some cavemen/women dancers or something from the 1800s and you should put and say he was born in 18xx instead of 19xx. That would be funny. Serve "brittle bones" and cupcakes overlapping little belts. Do a bald themed or gray haired theme.
Have some of your friends/relatives do a skit parodying his creaks and old man tendencies. Make fun of how he dresses the music he likes anything that could be made into an old fashioned joke. You can have someone dress in the style of his graduation year- caveman or cowboy or even half ape half man you get the picture.

Make it like a funeral if you like black humor a lot of people do that. You can go all the way with eulogies and a wake with him laid out and give away his "stuff" (dollar store items that represent him in some way).
