I heard about it, but just actually watched it for the first time. It didn't bother me, and honestly it wasn't as gruesome as you made it sound, there was 1 turkey and I didn't see any blood? Squirming feet yes.

We are meat eaters and come from a hunting family, so maybe that's why? Yes they could have done it a little more tastefully, but I wasn't offended.
