Annadrose that is exactly my point, she was asked to participate and pardon one turkey. I have personally seem many people do this on television and then they leave.I personally have never seen anyone pardon a turkey on farm where they are also slaughtering the animals as well. If she truly wanted to just pardon one turkey fine, do it and then leave. Also to the poster who thinks this is about Politics it is not, if it was I would have posted it on the election 2008 board. Also furthermore if this was any other candidate, like Obama, or McCain or Biden or Clinton or Bush I would have been equally disgusted, this was totally sad and definitely total bad judgement on her part as it would have been on any of the others I mentioned. Now if anyone wants to start discussing using dead animals for other means of human usage as clothes, belts, bags, this is not what this thread was about. It was simply about Sarah Palin given the opportunity to pardon one turkey and then stand there in full view of 2 other turkeys whom were slaughtered, if anyone did not witness the video and claims they did not see blood all over the man who was doing the act, nor did they see blood all over the container below him, then they are blind. Finally you can hear the turkeys making all sorts of noises and Sarah Palin herself turns around at one point and looks. Perhaps again as a hunter this is second nature for her, which is fine but to come on National Television, conduct a full pledge interview and even smile all the way through is totally sickening. Perhaps many of you hear seem to think you can deal with it, I cannot not and like the wonderful Paul McCarthy quoted if slaughter buildings were made of glass, no one would eat meat again. Edited to note it it totally anyones business to eat all the meat they want, Life is all about choices and I did not make this thread to question that. But the bottom line for me and so many others if you care to read all the comments about the video, what in the world was this lady or any other person thinking.. She made a bad choice... Catherine
