Now that the pressure of the race to get my shoe boxes packed is over (whewww! I'm such a procrastinator and apparently have no concept of time.
).... Anyway, I ended up packing 16 boxes. For 10 of them I had to buy 16-qt plastic totes (ouch!), because there was just no way I was going to fit everything I wanted to inside of a shoe box. I was a little upset because I could've packed at least 2 more, but I ran out of time and some supplies (particularly school supplies). I still have quite a bit of stuff left over that I'm going to save for next year. I have a feeling money is going to be even tighter for us then, but I still want to be able to pack some shoe boxes next year.
