Prices of cut trees here is ungodly !! A Douglas 5 ft will run between 60.00 and 75.00  . The cheapest Ive seen so far was at wal-mart it was 3 ft and cost 20.00.. Other trees can run between 25- 100's of dollars. This year I wanted to do something special so I went to the tree farm and got a 8 footer ( mistake in the other post I thought it was 6 1/2 feet, but tag said 8 ft ) it's a living tree and paid 59.00 for it ( I'm so proud of my tree ) I can't wait till after Christmas so the kids can point out the spot to plant the tree. I don't think I'll ever go back to a fake tree now. I have 4 in my attic and hate to bring one down every year. Such a pain to 'fluff" the limbs and I hate unpacking it and repacking it each year. So I'm pushing for living trees from now on. |
